The Crypto F2 chipper is the oldest machine we supply parts for (production ceased in 1994). The parts are relatively expensive and whilst the machine is slow to produce chips (12kg per minute) when working well is still one of the best chippers on the market. The RC10 was produced in 1956 in aluminium with a grey or black plastic cover, with a knife block set in black resin. In 1971 The RC11 was manufactured until 1989 with an aluminum body and stainless steel hopper - loading at the top and discharging at the front. The RC12 followed in 1989 to 1992 (which is similar to RC11).

This was then superseded by the RC14 in 1992 and is still in production. Crypto CC7 and the CC14 Both bench mounted machines made by Crypto Peerless from 1957 to 1996 (also known as ‘Crypto Viking’) Crypto C28/f half sack peeler This is the most popular choice of machine in the UK - favoured by many fish and chip shops. First manufactured in 1954 it was known as the C28 with a Lancashire Crypto motor, later to be replaced in 1968 with the newer C28/f. This model features an aluminium hopper and top, with a larger hole for changing the hopper and is fitted with a Brooke Compton motor. Production of the C28/f ceased in 1994. Crypto C56/f Produced from 1955 till 1992, this machine is very heavy duty and one of the most robust machines ever built but some parts now are hard to source.
