The founder of Hallde, Mr. Ernst Hall, constructed a machine that produced pieces of butter that were easy to spread also making the butter portions look bigger!!  Hallde was founded in Sweden over sixty years ago and since that first big idea they have become known for their vegetable preparation machines. Hallde spares are readily available.
